RANDY
BOONE
Although
I do not have all of the information on Randy Boone available
at this time, I do have some general information regarding his
birth, hometown, and filmography. As soon as I can get additional
material it will be posted. We are hopefully going to get an interview
with him soon. Thanks for viewing and thanks for your patience.
Randy Boon
was born on January 17, 1942 in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
His filmography spanned from the 1950's to the 1980's. I personally
remember watching him in the early 1960's on Rod Serling's "The
Twilight Zone" in an episode entitled, "7th is
Made up of Phantoms" (episode#5.10, aired on 12/6/1963),
when he and two fellow National Guardsmen (one of who was "Mobeetie",
Warren Oates) went back in time to join Custer's unseen 7th Cavalry
in the "Battle of the Little Big Horn." This was one
of those typical Twilight Zone episodes that really made you visualize
what was taking place, as you would only see things like the Indian
tee pees, a horse, or possibly hear the sounds of soldiers and
Indians at battle in the far distance. In fact, Randy Boone wound
up being shot in the back by an unseen assailants arrow just before
he and his comrades went into their final story ending battle.
